So, I had my fill done yesterday. 4ml. All good. Except for the fact that I have been STARVING all day! That might not seem to strange to some, but I haven't felt this hungry since the surgery. To eat & not feel full is almost a foreign concept to me! I've been so good today, I haven't pigged out, but I've just been so darn hungry! I just can't get my head around it. Shouldn't I be less hungry today? I dunno.
So, me being hungry all day just set me up for a great mood this evening. Husband & child had Hungry Jacks for dinner. I had a bowl of vanilla icecream. And I'm still hungry! So, I had a drink. Still hungry! Now I'm just trying to keep myself busy until I'm sleepy enough to go to bed, otherwise I'm going to do something naughty & feel disgusting after it :(
I guess I better go check if my Wii remote has finished charging so I can play that to keep my mind off my rumbling belly...

First Blog Ever.
Alright. So. I thought I'd give this blogging thing a go. So, here we go.
I had my post op appt with Dr Dolan today. Was very nervous - I'm not a fan of doctors. So, I wait patiently for him to call my name...when my name is called I follow the doctor into his office and he says "jump up on the scales then". So, obviously, I cringe, because I know it's not going to be pretty. Not as bad as I thought, to my suprise. So this band thing must really be working. "Well done", Dr Dolan says. "12kgs in 4 weeks - that's fantastic". I breath a sigh of relief. "But," he continues "you won't be losing the weight that quick anymore - it's going to slow right down now". FABULOUS, I think. Just what I wanted to hear! So, with all the pleasantries aside, he lays me down on the very uncomfortable table in his office, and sticks a needle in my stomach and then tells me I'm back on liquids for 3 days, and I've now got 4ml of fill in my band. Ugh, I tell you what, after having to live on soup for 2 weeks after the op, the last thing I want to be eating right now is soup. Especially when it feels like it's 45 degrees!
So, I had soup for dinner, while husband & child had home made pizzas. I feel good though. I really do. And I know it's going to be hard, but I've got fantastic support from my family & friends, and I've got this wonderful blog where I can vent all my frustrations now :)
Well, signing off from my very first blog.
